SME week, 3 events at the Science and Technology Park
SMEs are the driving force of the European economy and provide around 80% of the newly created job in Europe. Setting up new companies, almost all of which are SMEs, generates 4,1 million jobs each year. The relevance of SMEs is even more evident in Friuli Venezia Giulia, where they are 98% of the local economy.
To keep this trend going and to boost Europe’s competitiveness, the European Union organizes the first European SME Week, which will take place from 6 to 14 May 2009 to promote entrepreneurship and offer support and networking opportunities for European SMEs. Within this week Friuli Innovazione promotes 3 events on entrepreneurship, new technologies and internationalization:
The perfect match! Benefits and modalities of trasnational mobility actions between young entrepreneurs and experienced ones
The event will be devoted specifically to the start up issues and to the presentation of two initiatives promoting exchanges among young entrepreneurs and experienced ones. The first, financed by the Regional Governement (FVG) is called “IN-FVG” and aims at creating news businesses in the region by attracting external investors and entrepreneurs; the second, called EXE PRIZE, is financed by the EU Commission within the Pilot Programme Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs. The events The events will show European entrepreneurs how to benefit from the open market more efficiently and to boost business.
Mechatronics: synergy to win the challenges of the future
An event to make aware enterprises on the importance of mechatronic tools as valuable support in product design and development with reference to the whole manufacturing industry.
Enterprises and potential ICT Lead Users networking
a working day aiming to deepen the international cooperation in the E-Health sector. The event agenda will give space to the entrepreneurs, in order to stimulate their reciprocal knowledge and foster internationalisation and networking.
